The first part of the book is devoted to the history of the restaurant Il Grappolo, its menu and useful tips on how to cook yourself what they have on their menu. The second part, “A Sentimental Journey around France and Italy”, describes the most interesting – and tasty – locations and offers advice about which wines and dishes are worth trying.
The first part is printed on coated paper, just the way a classic culinary book would be; it features recipes and mouth-watering photos of food. The Journey is made on the pages of enchanting plain paper – a traveller’s diary full of impressions, marginal notes and receipts.
